The large-scale model masters at Amalgam Collection have just teamed up with Ferrari to make the supercar buying experience even better. Thanks to a new collaborative program, Ferrari customers will now have the chance to order a bespoke Amalgam Collection model of their new Italian supercar at Ferrari dealerships.
Amalgam Collection has announced that all Ferrari Roma, 812 Superfast, 812 GTS, Portofino M, SF90 Stradale or SF90 Spider customers can now option one of their high-quality models during the ordering process at Ferrari dealerships. The models themselves will be offered in both 1:8 and 1:12 scale, the latter of which is a new approach for Amalgam. Each model is constructed of more than 1000 parts, with every component being hand-cast in prototype resin. The model lineup is slated to expand along with Ferrari’s vehicle portfolio as well, so expect a 296 GTB to make its way into the catalog. All Amalgam Collection models are guaranteed to capture the specific spec of customer cars, with paint mixing codes even being supplied by Ferrari themselves.
If you don’t happen to have a Ferrari purchase planned in the near future, Amalgam Collection does plan to continue selling models to normal folks. The company offers miniature recreations of every modern Ferrari since the F430, as well as a ton of classic Ferrari metal. You’ll only be able to get a 1:8 scale version of these bespoke models however, as the smaller 1:12 models are exclusive to Ferrari customers. If motorsports are more your speed, Amalgam Collection also has some stellar Ferrari F1 models to choose from. These include every F1 car Ferrari has run since 1998, and can be had in either 1:8 or 1:18 scale.
It might not be as good as owning the full-size machine, but an Amalgam Collection model isn’t a bad way to keep a Ferrari in your home.
