Aldora Aluminum & Glass Co. Acquires New Angle Beveling in Expansion Move
Aldora Aluminum & Glass Co., Inc. has announced its recent acquisition of New Angle Beveling (NAB), a well-respected provider of residential and specialty glass fabrication based in Hyde, Pennsylvania. This strategic acquisition marks a significant step in Aldora’s ongoing initiative to enhance its operations through partnerships with family-run businesses in the glass fabrication industry.
Since its inception in 1965, NAB has established a reputation for quality and craftsmanship under the leadership of the Martell family. After a diligent search for a buyer who would honor their legacy and continue to build upon their foundation, the Martell family determined that Aldora was the ideal steward to carry NAB into its next chapter.
The Hyde and Clearfield operations, which include two furnaces along with sophisticated Lisec insulated glass production lines and multiple CNC machines and edgers, will receive continued investment from Aldora. This commitment underscores Aldora’s broader strategy of leveraging the expertise and established reputation of family-owned businesses to strengthen its overall market position.
“The process of selling a family business encompasses far more than just a financial transaction; it is about finding a partner who will nurture and honor the legacy that has been built over decades,” remarked Greg Martell, Vice President of NAB. His sentiments were echoed by the President of NAB, Marc Martell, who stated, “Aldora’s family-oriented philosophy reassured us that our team and customers would thrive, reinforcing our confidence in this transition.”
Leon Silverstein, Founder and CEO of Aldora, expressed his enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “We are deeply honored to welcome NAB into the Aldora family and to uphold the Martell legacy. As a family-run business ourselves, we comprehend the passion and commitment that goes into building such enterprises. Our aim is to create an environment where these businesses can thrive for generations to come.”
This acquisition allows Aldora not only to expand its operational capabilities but also to reinforce its commitment to family-oriented values within the glass fabrication industry. The company invites other family-owned glass fabricators considering their next chapter to connect with Aldora, positioning it as a bridge for those seeking partnership while valuing their legacy.
By strategically integrating New Angle Beveling into its portfolio, Aldora is not only enhancing its product offering but also contributing to the continuity of craftsmanship and dedication that has characterized NAB’s success for nearly six decades. With this acquisition, Aldora continues to solidify its place as a leader in the glass manufacturing sector, committed to preserving the heritage of the businesses it acquires.
