Enhancing Well-Being Through Mindfulness: Join Us for Mindful Wednesdays and Thursdays at WPI

In an era where stress levels are persistently high and the pursuit of mental wellness is more critical than ever, the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) is offering an innovative solution: Mindful Wednesdays and Mindful Thursdays. These drop-in meditation sessions are designed to provide a sanctuary for members of the WPI community, enhancing their overall well-being amid the rigors of academic and professional life.

The sessions, which require no prior meditation experience, are open to all individuals within the WPI community. Under the guidance of a certified meditation instructor, participants can expect a welcoming environment where both beginners and seasoned practitioners can deepen their mindfulness practice. Mindful Wednesdays are scheduled from 12:15 PM to 12:35 PM, taking place at the Center for Well-Being, located in Daniels Hall, room 102E. For those unable to attend in person, an accessible virtual option is provided via Zoom, allowing participants to join remotely. In addition to the weekly sessions, WPI provides ongoing support through a dedicated initiative called Mindfulness Tools To-Go.
