Akron Children’s Expands Pediatric Care Network with New Location in Jackson Township, Ohio

AKRON, Ohio – Akron Children’s Hospital is set to enhance pediatric healthcare services in Stark County with the opening of its latest primary care location in Jackson Township. Slated to commence operations on October 21, 2023, the new facility, named Akron Children’s Pediatrics, Jackson, will be located at 7058 Fulton Drive NW.

This new office represents a significant collaboration with Community Health Care, which has now become part of Akron Children’s extensive primary care network. The new Jackson Township location will feature 24 primary care exam rooms and is integrated into the hospital’s broader network of pediatric specialists, a strategic move intended to offer comprehensive care to the community.

Gia Polichena, a strategic planner for Akron Children’s Pediatrics, expressed enthusiasm about the new opening, noting, “Bringing our new office to this community is an exciting step forward in providing care closer to home for families. The establishment of this facility increases the total number of Akron Children’s Pediatrics offices in Stark County to five, complementing existing locations in Alliance, Massillon, North Canton, and Perry.
