Wee Daniel has toasted a new range of artisan bread from Gallaghers Bakehouse. Made in village of Ardara, Co Donegal since 1968, it’s a national favourite. Daniel was always a fan of nice brew but maybe it’s tea and toast these days? Available in Rustic White, Wholemeal or Multigrain, the Handcrafted Sourdough loaves boast all the taste and goodness of the traditionally slow-fermented style of bread.

Full of fibre and low in fat and sugar, the delicious fluffy slices — available in select Dunnes Stores, Tesco, Supervalu, Spar and Centra stores nationwide — are the healthier choice too.
Daniel, seen in the brand’s hilarious #BreadMadeBetter TV campaign, says: “Gallaghers Bakehouse is a staple in my kitchen. It’s fantastic to be working alongside a brand that has such strong ties to Donegal, and to see its success.”
