Testing waters, Hungary’s central bank flags cut in top end of rate corridor

Reuters was first to report comments by a Hungarian central banker who flagged a cut in the top of its interest rate corridor, which could be the first rate cut in Central and Eastern Europe. The forint fell almost 2% against the euro after the comments, made by Deputy Governor Barnabas Virag to Hungarian business website vg.hu.
