Kizik’s new 1,645-sq.-ft. store at Mall of America was created in partnership with design firm MG2.
“Hands-free” footwear brand Kizik is expanding its physical presence by opening stores at two of America’s best-known malls.
Kizik’s second U.S. store is now open at the Mall of America, featuring the brand’s growing collection of hands-free footwear that leverages more than 200 pending and granted patents. The launch follows Kizik’s pop-up store in New York City that has been extended to last through Memorial Day.
Kizik’s new 1,645-sq.-ft. store at Mall of America was created in partnership with design firm MG2, which said the key design principle of the Kizik in-store experience is “getting the customer to ‘try on’ as early in the journey as possible.”
The entrance is a brand portal with a Kizik blue footprint that aims to draw customers into the store. Standout design elements include the store’s materiality: a mix of surfaces including perforated metals, concrete, and textured paints with LED neon and vibrant blue. MG2 says the “elevated, versatile” displays are meant to capture a sense of motion to create an environment that empowers visitors to discover and explore.
