Stephanie Yenn named Executive Director for the American Heart Association in Dayton

DAYTON, OHIO, May 23, 2024 – The American Heart Association, announced the hiring of Stephanie Yenn as Dayton’s new executive director. Her history with non-profit, for-profit, education and business spaces all center around improving the community where she lives.

Yenn joins the American Heart Association after spending 20-plus years in Greater Dayton. She most recently served as the associate director of alumni and community relations at Miami Valley School.

“I’m honored to be part of the efforts in Dayton dedicated to heart health. Together, we will not only amplify our impact and inspire healthier lifestyles but also foster a culture of wellness in every beat of our community’s heart,” Yenn said. “As the American Heart Association celebrates 100 years, we’re not just reflecting on the past, but also looking forward to a future where our future is about improving yours.”

Yenn joins the Association after working over 20 years in the greater Dayton area. She is very passionate about the community served by the American Heart Association, Dayton. Yenn started her career working at the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, where she helped manage the Leadership Dayton, Generation Dayton, and Executive Dialogue programs. In her role with Miami Valley School, Yenn built strong relationships while deepening her wealth of knowledge and expertise.

In her new role, Stephanie will continue the American Heart Association’s legacy of innovation and advocacy, working tirelessly to advance cardiovascular health and well-being throughout the community as the American Heart Association celebrates 100 years of fighting for a world of longer, healthier lives.
